After breakfast, we will depart early from the hotel for Materuni Waterfalls located near a village at the bottom of Kilimanjaro National Park.  

We will be able to learn the traditions and customs of the local Chagga people who grow and process their own coffee.  We will visit a farm where you can make your own cup of coffee locally and buy fresh beans.

We will then hike 60 minutes to Materuni Waterfalls where you can jump into the fresh water that drains here right from Mount Kilimanjaro. We will have lunch in a local village before heading to Chemka hot spring. 

Relax in the gorgeous geothermal warmed water that is sparkling clean and clear. 

Drive back to Arusha that night to relax at the hotel before we depart for our safari the next day! 

After breakfast, we'll be picked up at our hotel to drive to Tarangire National Park Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds.  From the open roof of the vehicle you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and giraffe.  

There is no telling what we will see on safari.. a lion stalking prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above. 

After an early breakfast, depart for the most famous national park in the world, Serengeti.  The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. 

This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well in the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, "endless plains".  

The park has 6,900 sq. miles and for most of it, the plains will stretch into the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances.  It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelope. As for Big Cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas.

After the game drive in central Serengeti, you will return back to Seronera campsite.  This is your chance to spend the night inside the famous Serengeti!

Fair warning: you may hear hyenas cackling and whooping from your tent. There's nothing like it in the world!! 

We will wake very early for a stunning sunrise game drive, this is when the animals are the most active. 

There is also the option of a sunrise hot air balloon for anyone interested. It's sure to be a morning you'll never forget! 

After the game drive, we will have a picnic lunch before we proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World.  

The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2,000 ft high walls making it virtually a Noah's Ark inhabiting every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. 

It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino.  The crater has a river, several swamps and a lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. 

Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. 

Later in the evening, we will drive to Ngorongoro highlands to camp overnight in Simba Campsite. 

You may hear animals from your tent and see zebras around the campsite, it's truly an adventure! 

We will start the day early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth.  Sunrise here is truly spectacular! 

After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake. 

After lunch, we will do our final game drive then ascend the crater and exit.  

Drive back to Arusha.

Welcome to beautiful, sunny Zanzibar! 

We'll catch a short flight over to this paradise. We'll have lunch at Mercury Restaurant overlooking the beach before taking a  boat over to "Prison Island.'  

Here we can swim in the crystal clear water. 

Have a drink at a floating restaurant and free time to shop in the Stone Town markets.

That night, we'll go for dinner at the Zanzibar night market. 

Pack your suit (and maybe a GoPro!) because today we are waking up early to begin our animal safaris: Zanzibar edition!

We'll  head out on a dolphin safari to snorkel with wild dolphins then visit a sea turtle rehabilitation center. 

Then we will check into our hotel right on the ocean.  Swim, enjoy water sports or have a drink on the beach.  

That night, we'll have our farewell dinner by the ocean. 

Say goodbye to your travel companions! 

Most likely you will need to fly back to Tanzania before continuing on to home or onto further travels. 

Airport transfer included to Zanzibar airport.
